Sons of God: Parenting's Place in God's Gospel Plan

The family has been a focal point of Satan's attacks upon God and His people from the beginning. But the family, and particularly fatherhood and sonship, have also been a focal point of the Lord's mission of gospel grace among His people from the beginning. Covenant families are the sons of God. Are you merely a son or daughter of men--still languishing in your sin in the first Adam? Or, are you and your household children of God by grace: calling upon His Name, calling by His Name--having the Lord Himself at the center of your life and your home, so that all of life can be described as a walking with Him, as you enjoy His rest in Jesus, who has removed our curse and is destroying the works of the devil?
